Gunadarma University (Task 6)

 Task 6 - Duolingo

Introduction

This week on November 8, our lecturer told us to work on duolingo. This was my first time doing this assignment, and it was a lot of enjoyable.

Task

There are many languages to choose from and I decided to choose Japanese because I studied Japanese in high school so I thought it would be fun to learn.

I can choose between two paths: Japanese and Indonesian.
I, who already knew a little Japanese in high school, chose the second one.
At first it wasn't too difficult, I could do it easily.
But after a few questions, I realized that it was too difficult for me so I did it by asking Google.

Conclusion

This is something I didn't expect to happen in this class. I really enjoy learning languages on Duolingo. It's great to learn another language.

GUNADARMA UNIVERSITY (TASK 4)

 Task 4 - ESL LAB

Introduction

This week on October 25, 2023 our lecturer asked us to complete an assignment on a website called ESL-Lab. I have to say that this website has the same concept as BBC English Learning.

Life Stories

I decided to choose BREAKING OUT OF THE HIGH SCHOOL BUBBLE: TIM'S STORY because I was immediately drawn to it when I saw it, and it's a very funny story and audio. but, when I did it I got a score of 4/5 because I didn't do it thoroughly hehee.

Conclusion

The homework itself wasn't that bad, maybe because I was used to BBC Learning's English homework. However, I found that ESL-Lab focuses more on listening and reading, which is a good thing. I really enjoyed this mission and that's all I can say.

Session 3

In session 3, I had to retake the exam because I didn't score well.

Session 4

I repeated the video almost twice when I answered, so I repeated the test.

Session 5

The last level was also very difficult for me, so I repeated the test. again the same thing I got vocabulary that I didn't understand so it was very difficult for me to do this level.

Hard Level - English You Need

Session 1

The sentences were difficult to understand so I kept repeating the test.

Session 2

In this session, the assignment was a little difficult because a lot of the grammar and vocabulary was difficult to understand.

Session 3

Session 3 was easier to understand than the previous session, so I didn't repeat the test.

Session 4

After session 3 I took session 4, it was very difficult for me because it had entered the hard level.

Session 5

I finally went through the previous sessions from medium to hard level. I got very understandable vocabulary and words.

 Conclusion:

This test measured my English skills and found out the correct grammar. Anyway, it was an interesting test and I enjoyed it quite extensively.

The last level was also very difficult for me, so I repeated the test. again the same thing I got vocabulary that I didn't understand so it was very difficult for me to do this level.

From What Age Should We Use Skincare?

What Age Should You Start a Skincare Using?

Caring for your skin at a young age is recommend by most dermatology. The sooner you start using good products on your face, the less likely you'll need to worry about fine lines, wrinkle or premature skin aging. In fact, being proactive rather reactive when it comes to skincare will help you ward off the external effects of advancing years for much longer. Age to start a skincare routine Beginning a basic skincare routine at the age of 12 or 13 year is a good idea.

Cleanse Skin Gently Yet Effectively

A gentle, foaming cleanser is best for oily or acne-prone skin. Avoid harsh chemicals, such as parfumes, dyes or sulfates, which can aggravate acne skin and make blemish and redness appear worse.

Clense twice daily, in the morning and again at night especially if your teenager wears make-up or participants in sport through the day. What age should one start anti aging products?

Teenagers : - Cleanser

Best Face Washes for Teenagers with Acne like drugstore. Cerave foaming facial cleanser (Normal to Oily Skin) This daily facial cleanser creates a soothing foam that removes oil and goes deep into pores without negating the natural protective elements of the skin.

                   - Sunscreen

Suncreen a review of health benefits, regulations, and controversies Ultraviolet radiattion plays a major role in the development on nonmelanoma and melanoma skin cancers. Photoprotection by sunscreen has been shwn to prevent the development of actinic keratosis, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, and photoaging.

                   - Moisturizer

I use this as a last step in my whole skincare routine of deep cleansing, toning, and acne treatments. It deeply hydrates my hyper-reactive, sensitive skin without causing me any redness or breakouts. Although my skin gets congested and greasy very easily this doesn't clog my pores, break me out or make me shiny; in fact it's very soothing and balancing. Throughout the whole next day my skin is way less oily. It is expensive but very worth it in my opinion.

Early 20 year: add retinol if you aren't using it, use AHA/BHA, Vit c, Start saving money

Late 20 year : use peptides, preventative botox, fillers and stop drinking.

How Should Young Women Take Care of Their Skin?

Young women should begin a 5-step skincare regimen somewhere between ages 20 and 30. Doing this will help defend against pre-mature skin aging early in life when it truly counts. An easy and effective routine for ‘twentysomething’ women to try includes the following:

Step One: Cleanse the Skin

Clean skin is the foundation for healthy skin, at any age. Choose an all-natural soap or mild facial wash specifically designed for your skin type, whether that be normal, dry, oily or combination.

Step Two: Exfoliate the Skin

Exfoliating the skin surface not only makes it appear brighter and healthier but also better prepares it for toner, serum, and moisturizer. Try sloughing off dead, dull skin cells using an easy, affordable and all-natural homemade scrub. Begin by mixing 2 tablespoons of brown sugar with ¼ cup of grapeseed oil and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Apply to the skin in a gentle, circular motion. Rinse thoroughly with warm or tepid water followed by a splash of cool water. Pat dry gently with a soft towel.

Step Three: Tone the Skin

After exfoliating, use an all-natural toner on the face. Simply take ¼ cup of witch hazel and combine it with ¼ cup of rose water and 3 or 4 drops of lavender oil in a jar or spray bottle. Shake vigorously and either spray directly onto the skin or put it on a cotton ball first and then apply it to the face. Avoid the delicate eye and lip areas, if possible.

Step four : Nourish the skin
Applying serum to the face, after toning and before moisturizing, provides additional nourishing and hydrating skin benefits. Unlike lotions or creams that simply sit on the surface, serums penetrate deep into the epidermal layers, feeding the skin and preparing it for topical moisturization.

Step Five: Moisturize the Skin

Be sure to use a product suitable for your skin type, whether it be normal, dry, oily or a combination. Choose one that’s water-based and all-natural, if possible and use it frequently. Your ‘twenties’ is also a good time to start using eye cream.

Why is a skincare routine very important?

Because Skincare itself is very important for the health of our skin because in beautifying ourselves is not enough just by covering the deficiency with makeup but also there must be something that improves and prevents from various skin problems that are increasingly more problems. The Skincare product that you should have in ur skincare routine to keep your skin clean and healthy are follows :

1. Cleanser

2. Toner

3. Serum

4. Moisturizer

5. Exfoliation

6. Suncreen (very important)

Maybe this is the review I can talking about it. Sorry if there are wrong words, don’t forget to take care of health in our face and body to stay healthy.

THANKYOU :)
